Over the course of the last two years or so, we’ve seen several unnecessary, yet entertaining celebrity boxing matches make their way onto television and computer screens across the country. Most recently, we had Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson participate in a celebrity exhibition boxing match and Youtube star Logan Paul, who put on the gloves and fought legend Floyd Mayweather in a highly debated exhibition contest.
This newfound trend of celebrities stepping into the ring and battling it out has no chance of dying out anytime soon. Because honestly, who’d want it to die out? Someone around the world always wants to see celebrities’ box. As crazy as that sounds, too, it’s true.
ESPN analyst Kendrick Perkins recognizes that and even revealed who he’d want to box in a celebrity boxing match if he received the opportunity to do so.
