The New York City police hunt for thieves caught on camera robbing a man of over $4 million in jewelry. According to police, a 47-year old man and his 27-year old friend were walking out of a trendy nightclub in NYC called TAO when they were confronted by two men riding in a Mercedes-Benz.
On the surveillance footage released on Thursday, it shows one of the occupants of the black Benz points a gun at the two men around 4:20 am and told them to remove various jewelry items, which included chains, necklaces, rings, and even a Richard Millie watch which the 47-year-old man wore.
They went ahead less than a week later, robbed a 34-year-old man on Broadway at 1 am and seized a tennis bracelet and a high-end Audemar Piguet watch that is worth $100,000.
The police describe the suspects as very short, ones 5’2 and the other 5′ flat, and both weigh 140 lbs. One of them with a dark complexion and the other with a light complexion. A third unknown person was driving the Mercedes-Benz.
