Olympic Gold Medalist Swimmer Alla Shishkina on How Having Sex Without Orgasms Helped Her Perform Better

Alla Shishkina is a Russian Olympic gold medalist, who won big 2012, 2016, and at last month’s Olympics in Tokyo. Now, she has an interesting theory about how she was able to perform at such a high level.

Shishkina revealed to Russian newspaper Sport Express, that she spoke with team doctors regarding how sex can impact her performance, and she got some interesting feedback. She revealed that in order to have “explosive power,” then she needed to have sex. Shishkina added that having sex without getting orgasms in it, also improves the need for muscle strength.

“And if there is long, cyclical work ahead, then probably not. But there are still nuances for each organism and you need to listen to yourself first. If you feel that sex helps, then go ahead. Sex without orgasm before the competition is suitable for those who need muscle strength to achieve the best results.”

Shishkina did reveal though that if an athlete has a lot of testosterone that causes “sports anger” and “aggression,” then they should avoid sex. She also discussed a popular topic about training with bigger breasts, as she said that it is difficult with bigger ones.
