OnlyFans has been a very common way for a lot of women to make money on the Internet since last year, especially after the COVID-19 pandemic started. The site was initially started as a way for creators to share their work, but it has since been popularized as a sexual content site for creators.
A lot of women post naked content on OF, and for a lot of them, make very good money. According to the NY Post, stars on the site make 270x more than the “average worker.” MrQ, the UK-based gaming software, added that some of the hottest stars on OF make more money than people in professionals such as lawyers, doctors, and teachers.
One lady, Gem101, reportedly makes $29.4 million per year, and is the most popular OF user. CapriceG92 is said to be the 10th most popular, and racks in $4.3 million per year.
What is calculated into these revenue earnings for OF users, is their subscription costs and subscriber numbers. A 20% cut by OF is also factored in.
“Among the most popular accounts with listed subscribers, gem101 ranks as the highest earner, with an estimated [$29.4 million] in annual income, earning an eye-watering [$2.49 million] each month,” said a release for the study. “This comes from a $29 subscription charge per month and 102,800 subscribers to the account.”
Studies were also done on how a user like Gem101 crushes doctors, in terms of monthly income.
“While boning up on hard subjects at university might earn a decent amount as doctors at the pinnacle of their career will earn an average of a little over [$109,000] annually (around [$9,152] a month), top models like gem101 earn more than 22 times as much in one month alone. That’s nearly 270 times as much a year.”
