The NBA Summer League is heating up with NBA rookies showcasing their skills prior to their scheduled seasons.
“Pacers rookie Chris Duarte (19 points, six assists) led all scorers. Fellow first-round pick Isaiah Jackson (10 points), second-year guard Cassius Stanley (12 points, three steals) and two-way player Duane Washington (13 points) contributed, too,” per the Indy Star.
Jackson flourishes when he runs the floor on the defensive end recovering to prevent fast breaks or an easy layup.
The Pacers defeated the Portland Trail Blazers 97-64.
