Last week, Patrick Beverley and Rajon Rondo got traded to the Grizzlies, as many were surprised that the Clippers were done with those two. The Clippers did get Eric Bledsoe in return, though.
Shortly after PBev was traded, people on Twitter started to make a quote go viral that he supposedly said in a 2019 regular-season game… This was where he supposedly told Stephen Curry, “You had the last five years. The next five years are mine.”
At that point, Steph allegedly asked PBev, “Aren’t you 31?’” When these alleged quotes were brought up, he decided to finally recently address this on Twitter. The 2017 All-Defensive First Team defended ended up denying these claims.
