Last month, at the Rolling Loud festival in Miami, Tory Lanez performed. He wasn’t initially booked there, but DaBaby brought him out to perform their “SKAT” collab. This also went down an hour after Megan Thee Stallion’s performance.
Tory and Megan still aren’t friends at all, after Megan accused Tory of shooting her in the foot, in LA, last summer. Megan’s team initially accused Tory of breaking a protective order served against him, with this RL performance. The order states how he can’t be 100 feet near Megan.
Now, prosecutors are feeling the same way as Megan’s team. According to TMZ, they’ve filed a motion to hold the Toronto rapper in contempt for violating the order. Here, they are looking for a judge to either increase his bail amount, or revoke it in general, so he can get back in jail. A hearing for this will take place on August 19.
Back in mid-November, Tory plead not guilty to felony assault, regarding the Megan shooting. Her team went on to accuse Tory and DaBaby of rushing the stage during Meg’s RL performance, something that Tory claims is false. Sources close to Tory tell that TMZ that he supposedly never even saw her at the festival.
