Tim Tebow is actually back in the NFL now, and it was a reality last night. He played in the Jaguars’ first preseason game, vs the Browns, where they lost 23-13.
Tebow played in 16 snaps as a tight end and was only targeted once, for no receptions. One play, in particular, went viral on social media, where he attempted a block. That didn’t work out at all, as Tebow fell, and even ran into his teammate in the process.
Shannon Sharpe soon took to Twitter, to start giving Tebow advice. He feels that Tebow can play the position at 250 pounds, but needs to get his mind right and watch more film. The HOF Tight End added that Tebow needs to learn which shoulders to use, in games.
Tebow was initially drafted by the Broncos in 2010 and even won a playoff game for them. He defeated the Steelers in the 2011 playoffs. His being a QB didn’t work out at all in the NFL, as he was out of the league for six years, up until this point.
