The Bears took their QB of the future in Justin Fields at the 2021 NFL Draft, with the 11th overall pick. He wan absolute beast at Ohio State, and many expect his play to translate to the pro level. At Beats training camp, he’s looked more than impressive, as clips have been being posted to social media of his progress.
“Justin Fields was good,” said The Athletic Chicago’s Adam Jahns. “It’s the velocity of his throws, particularly over the middle, but also how often he gives his wide receivers/tight ends a chance to make plays. His scrambling and ability to change his arm angle on throws stood out, too.”
This description was definitely accurate, as Fields has been right on the money with his throws, and his very mobile as well. Andy Dalton is expected by some to be the Week 1 starter vs the Rams, but by then, it may be Fields’ job completely.
