Yesterday, the 49ers scored a 41-33 win over the Lions in Detroit. They continued to deal with injuries, which flashed back to 2020. They lost RB Raheem Mostert to a knee injury. Up until that point, Mostert had 2 carries for 20 yards.
49ers HC Kyle Shanahan has since said that Mostert’s injury is not an ACL. He is expected to miss close to eight weeks now, with “chipped cartilage” in his knee, according to ESPN. For now, though, he is getting some alarming threats, that his wife, Devon, is revealing.
Mostert has dealt with injuries frequently while with the 49ers, and these fans sadly let him have it. She revealed how fans were saying that Mostert should kill himself due to his injuries. They also added that he needs to be cut and is made out of glass.
Devon also explained how football is how Mostert feeds their family, and these messages have piled in by the thousands. She also emphasized how Mostert does everything he can to be able to play in games. He also supposedly gives up off days with his kids to get treatments and is that dedicated.
