The very messy divorce settlement between Dr. Dre and his now ex-wife Nicole Young doesn’t seem like it’s going to end anytime soon.
According to The Blast, the latest development is that Dre is now suing Young for allegedly embezzling money from his record company after she breached her fiduciary duties and used the money for her own personal use.
The documents state that Dr. Dre and his ex-wife were listed on the business to be involved in “maintenance and control” of its assets. So, the company claims it entrusted Nicole with the authority to draw checks and transfer funds for the business. Now, according to the suit, they claim Mrs. Young “decimated” the bank account and withdrew $353,571.85. Of course, this was during the time Dre and Nicole had started their divorce proceedings, and she has since been removed from the business trust.
That would certainly be one way to lose your divorce hearing.
Word on the street is that Dre believes she is using the cash on other men.
Dre is already paying $300k a month in support to Nicole, but he is trying to reduce that since he states they had an iron-clad prenup.
