Roy Johnson was fired as the Bishop Sycamore head coach, but people pondered, can you really get fired from a school that doesn’t exist?
Who at ESPN was fired for allowing Johnson to scam them and get put on National TV?
Likely no one, but it appears now everything is falling on Johnson’s head, who is already on the fun from the law for bouncing some bad checks and other nefarious activities.
Now, his former players are airing him out.
BSO reported on how one player said they had to turn into goons and robbed grocery stores just to eat, but now we have two more former players coming out with their wild stories via Complex.
There was an incident where there was a homeless dude that tried to break into Roy’s car, that morning we were supposed to practice, and everyone came out and… there’s videos of this, but I don’t want to release that because many players can get in trouble with the law… but they ended up jumping the homeless man and beating him.
Wait, so Roy authorized that
Both: Yes
Player 1: Yea, they ganged up on him. I would’ve understood if he handled it himself, but the players were beating on the homeless man. I wasn’t a part of it. The whole practice was canceled because the homeless man got beat up.
They say how the food provided was worse than prison food, and Coach Roy was using the Madden Playbook to design plays on gameday (that probably isn’t a bad idea since they never practice).
This story has one of the deeper rabbit holes I have ever covered, and you have to wonder if there are more fake schools out there like this.
Don’t pretend it can’t happen. Remember Trump University.
