Another Verzuz battle went down last night, as it featured another NYC matchup between Fat Joe and Ja Rule. It was definitely competitive, as some shots were fired. Ja initially said that it was “fucking pathetic” that Joe had to bring out Remy Ma to perform and save him, and that’s when Joe fired back.
Ja had brought out Lil Mo and Vida to perform “Put It On Me,” and that’s where Joe called them “dusty hoes” and how “You gotta go to the crackhouse to find them bitches.” The Bronx native has since been getting a lot of heat for these comments on social media and now is issuing an apology on Twitter.
“Shout out to the ladies very sorry if i disrespected i love vida and lil Moe I’m super sorry love my sisters”
Joe definitely seemed like he got too caught up in the heat of the competition here. One of the other popular artists that Ja also brought out was Ashanti, who worked with Joe before as well. In the end, though, he and Ja put on a show and was a Verzuz fan-favorite.
