For Florida State fans, after Jimbo Fisher hightailed his way to Texas A&M and left the program in shambles, last Saturday night’s game didn’t make fans any more optimistic.
The Seminoles were facing off against the FCS Jacksonville State, who many thought nothing of and was essentially a tune-up game for FSU, turned into a close and competitive game with Jacksonville State’s QB Zerrick Cooper threw a hail mary heave connecting with one of his receivers for a touchdown as the clock hit zero beating the Noles 20-17.
After the game, while the Gamecocks were on the field celebrating and planting their flag in the middle of the field, an FSU offensive lineman wasn’t letting a loss ruin his plans. After the loss, Brady Scott decided to pop the question to his girlfriend, and people were not happy.
Well, Brady doesn’t care what you or I think and even went ahead and posted a link to his wedding registry to all of the haters.
Smart move, Brady smart move. He turned a bad moment into an opportunity to get random people contributing to his registry and will have a great story to tell his kids and grandkids in the future.
Congrats are in order for Brady and his fiancee.
