Patrick Mahomes is currently engaged to his longtime girlfriend, Brittany Matthews. However, there have been questions about what her career field is and if she even has one. An Instagram user decided to take matters into their own hands and bring this topic to Matthews’ IG comments.
In a post where Matthews is seen with her and Mahomes’ baby, the user said:
“She most definitely twenty years from now is gonna be on some real house wives of athletes type of show because for real what does she actually do besides just being the wife and mother of Pat Macs child.. like really why is she relevant.”
Matthews may have felt some type of way about this comment, as she responded with, “And you follow me why?”
For many athletes, their girlfriends/wives are stay-at-home moms. For Brittany Matthews, though, she seems pretty active with her fitness training, meal planning, charity work, and being part-owner of the soccer team with Patrick, so it isn’t like she is just sitting at home spending his money so salute to that.
Also, it should be noted that she has been with Mahomes since he was in High School, and if you saw the HS pics, you know she had no idea he was going to be considered one of the best QBs of his generation, so not like she hopped aboard the train once Mahomes blew up.
She gets credit for that. She is definitely a DAY ONE lady, even if all the screaming and stuff can get on people’s nerves. There isn’t any doubt she always loved him before the fame and fortune, and I am sure he recognized that.
