It’s been a while since Track & Field had a good villain/heel, but it seems like sprinter Sha’Carri Richardson is here to fill the role.
Richardson was supposed to represent the US at the Olympics this year, but a failed drug test kept her from attending. She smoked a little weed after finding out her mom had passed away as a way to cope, but that didn’t really matter to decision-makers.
She received a lot of sympathy after, and many people thought she should have been able to run.
That’s where things took a turn.
Since then, she has taken shots at other runners, including Allyson Felix, and many people didn’t like it.
Recently, she posted a pic on IG that showed she was choosing violence, and people did not like it at all.
I will say one thing is for sure; it brings a lot more attention to the sport.
