Sha’Carri Richardson has definitely given Track and Field a lot of needed spotlight.
She continues to make headlines even after the Olympics.
Richardson has gone at Allyson Felix, who is probably the greatest female Track and Field athlete ever and now the GOAT himself, Usain Bolt.
Bolt gave her a little advice saying that she should train harder, be focused, and not say too much.
“I would tell Sha’Carri to train harder and to be focused and not say too much … So just train hard and focus on that and try to come back do it and then talk about it,” said Bolt, an eight-time Olympic gold medalist.
“Jamaicans were vexed because she was talking a lot of s–t before the actual race, it is just one of those things,” he said. “Jamaicans don’t like when people talk s–t about us because we are a very proud people. So if you talk about us we are gonna want you to back it up. It definitely gave those women the extra push [to win.]”
Richardson has seemingly responded via her IG story posting a comment that says everyone wants to give advice in the media, but no one wants to actually take time to talk to her and quoted it with “good humbling morning.”
On one hand, Bolt has been where she’s trying to get, and he doesn’t have to speak to her to give advice. But on the other hand, it would be nice for the people giving the advice to reach out to her and talk.
