Tom Brady has been vocal about his time with the New England Patriots and believes he was jaded by the organization and head coach Bill Belichick. First, it was Brady’s dad Tom Brady Sr., calling out Belichick and the Patriots for wanting Brady out the door.
With only a little over a week left until Brady returns to Foxboro, his trainer, Alex Guerrero, is the next person to throw shade at the Patriots and coach Belichick.
Guerrero says Belichick’s relationship with Brady never “evolved” because Belichick refused to stop treating Brady like a young kid and not a veteran.
You can’t treat someone who’s in his 40’s like he’s in his 20’s, it just doesn’t work.
It’s no secret that Belichick never liked having Guerrero being around Brady and his team all the time. Some of the other players on the team would seek treatment out from Guerrero rather than going to the team doctors, which further upset Belichick.
Team doctors aren’t always the best route to go if you want an honest, non-biased opinion. As for Guerrero, he must be doing something right if Brady’s still playing at a high level well into his 40’s.
