Chiefs WR Tyreek Hill is about as explosive of a player as you will see in the NFL with groundbreaking speed and quickness, but Hill didn’t have a productive day on Sunday’s game against the Baltimore Ravens. Ravens safety DeShon Elliott trolled him for being “clamped” by Anthony Averett during their Week 2 showdown, and like expected, Hill responded.
Elliott posted a clip on Twitter showing Averett stopping Hill from catching a pass from Patrick Mahomes, which resulted in an incomplete pass. Averett captioned the post captioned it with “Clamp Clampington” before tagging Averett.
Hill wasn’t happy with the comment and told Elliot to ‘keep that same energy when they see each other again.
I’m sure Hill certainly won’t forget about it until he gets his revenge, no matter how long that may be. The Ravens and Cheifs may see each other against in the playoffs, but it’s also possible that fans will have to wait until next season to see these two teams match up again.
The Ravens hold the bragging rights, for now, having edged the Chiefs in a thrilling finish winning a close one, 36-35. They better be aware next time they play the Chiefs because Hill will likely use this situation as added motivation like most athletes do to up their play.
