The older generations of NBA players have made it clear that they don’t like how guys team up now. A lot of them, at least.
The latest NBA legend to talk about how he doesn’t like it is Shaq.
He joined Robert Horry’s Big Shot Bob podcast to talk about how the new guys team up now, and he didn’t hold back at all, saying guys are getting lazy and cut and want the past players to show them some respect.
Shaq also says that if he wanted to take the easy route, he would have gone to play with Hakeem in Houston or David Robinson and Tim Duncan in San Antonio after they all beat him in the playoffs.
I do get what he’s saying, but I also feel like many players aren’t talking about the front offices when they talk about guys teaming up, and that definitely should be discussed.
