Last night, No. 10 North Carolina was upset by Virginia Tech on the road, as QB Sam Howell made a puzzling pass with a minute left in the game, that resulted in a pick. In the stands though, things were heated between Hokies and Tarheels fans as well.
One UNC fan was seen throwing a punch at a VA Tech fan, as everyone was trying to hold him back. Shortly after this punch was landed, more Tech fans started to get on top of this man, in an effort to help their fellow fan, on home turf.
Punches were landed on this man as well, as security soon stepped in to get things under control. Tech will be at home again next week as well, as they’ll take on Middle Tennessee.
