JR Smith, as we reported Monday, played in his first golf tournament this past week for North Carolina A&T, and for someone that has never played at a high level, he had some bright moments and also had some not-so-bright moments.
During the second round this Tuesday, JR was tracking down one of his shots, and when on the look for his ball, he ran into a hornets’ nest, causing the former Laker and Knicks guard to get stung all over his body.
After JR sought out some treatment for his stings, Smith would go on to double bogey the hole, thus dropping him to a +24. I’m sure once JR gets used to the competition and gets more time to practice on his game, you’ll start to see some improvement.
