The Chiefs were one of the favorites to get to the Super Bowl again, but they currently look like they’ll be fighting just to get in the playoffs.
After yesterday’s loss to the Bills, everyone is on edge.
Even Patrick Mahomes’ fiancée Brittany. She wasn’t a fan of the refs last night and said they’re Neve run her favor.
That caused her to get into it with some fans on Twitter. They showed a lot of pics of how she’s wrong, but she didn’t really care.
On the one hand, you want your spouse to ride for you, but on the other hand, you don’t want her to act like Karen. Matthews has a history of blaming the refs and everyone else when things go wrong with the Chiefs.
The truth is the Chiefs’ defense is historically bad, and the offense isn’t clicking. This often happens when a team loses a Super Bowl. Other teams take what they saw and implement it in their defensive game plans. Also, when you are a continually successful team, you lose a lot of good players in free agents.
The Chiefs are still extremely dangerous and can catch fire at any time, but other teams in the AFC have caught up and no longer fear them.
Also, Matthews and Mahomes’ brother Jackson who poured water on a fan, need to stop acting like Karens. It is ok to support Patrick, but do it so that it doesn’t come across as so entitled. It isn’t a good look for them, Patrick or the Chiefs.
The refs weren’t the reason the Chiefs lost last night, the Bills just were the superior team, and that was clear to anyone who wasn’t biased and watched the game.
