LeBron James got ejected with a flagrant two foul on Isaiah Stewart during the Lakers’ game against Pistons on Sunday night, but before James’ exit, Stewart tried several times to attack him, and there is a video proving so.
Via Total Pro Sports:
LeBron James threw a fist or elbow and was thrown out of the Lakers’ game against the Pistons on Sunday night. In the third quarter, James was ejected for a Flagrant 2 foul after James delivered a forceful backfist to Pistons forward Isaiah Stewart following a foul shot.
Isaiah Stewart was held back by several players, but that never worked as the video shows him running into the tunnel to make it to the other side just to attack LeBron James.
The teammates who were following Stewart looked like they were trying to prevent him from treying to do whatever he had in mind.
Stewart’s outburst led to an ejection. Westbrook was also assessed a technical on the play.
I always think they should let the guys fight, not on the court, but in the locker room. They should be able to have a 1-on-1 conversation, and if they lead to fisticuffs, so be it. I would have been upset if I were Isaiah Stewart because that was definitely a cheap shot from LeBron.
I am sure LeBron didn’t mean to have him bleeding like Arturo Gotti (RIP, his wife murdered him, by the way, and everyone knows it), but once Stewart tasted the blood, he was ready for war.
I am always curious to think what would happen if the players weren’t held back. Would Westbrook and AD really have gone to battle for their KING? Westbrook had his dukes up like he was right to fight.
