Emoni Bates has been the most lethal player from the state of Michigan since his days at Lincoln and Ypsi Prep.
The Memphis Tiger forward in his second debut game against the North Carolina Central Panthers is proving he’s destined for the NBA.
In the first quarter with 11:57 on the clock, Bates drove right and flushed down a one-handed dunk setting the tone for the Tigers.
Bates is ready and with the help and wisdom of head coach Penny Hardaway, he’s aiming to put the Tigers back on the map.
His game is very similar to Kevin Durant but there’s only one Emoni Bates.
