Brooklyn Nets’ Kevin Durant has clapped back at fans about his legs being ashy. Kevin responded to the tweets about his legs being ashy with a tweet saying:
‘I’m bouta pull my “y’all broke” card in a second. F–k y’all’
KD is used to being clowned for things like his hair or his attire, so this is nothing new.
Calling him Larry Ashy, though obviously got under his skin, no pun intended.
As far as the game last night.
In two days, Cam Thomas went from G League sensation to Brooklyn spark plug.
Kevin Durant returned to the lineup and scored 27 points, James Harden added 14 points and a season-high 14 assists, and Thomas gave Brooklyn a needed second-half lift in a 117-112 win over Cleveland on Monday night.
LaMarcus Aldridge had 21 points and 11 rebounds off the bench for the Nets, who seemed somewhat disinterested for three quarters before awakening to get their sixth win in seven games.
“Sometimes, it takes a little while for them to get going. I wish it didn’t,” coach Steve Nash said “They found themselves in a hole, but they’re proud and they responded.”
After the game, the 2014 MVP responded to tweets about his legs being ashy.
Durant had 27 points, six rebounds and nine assists in the game.
Even without Kyrie Irving (who hasn’t played this season), Durant and James Harden have the Nets on top of the Eastern Conference.
I don’t think KD was that upset, but you know he will clap back on people on Twitter, so the young lady is lucky he didn’t address her directly because then her mentions would have been on fire for at least two days because Twitter has a very short attention span.
