Malcolm X’s Daughter Malikah Shabazz Found Dead In Her Brooklyn Home

In a piece of shocking news, Malcolm X’s daughter Malikah Shabazz, 56, is dead — and her lifeless body was found in her Brooklyn home by her daughter.

Malikah Shabazz’s death comes less than a week after the two men convicted for her father’s assassination were exonerated. And no foul play has been suspected yet.

Via TMZ:

Law enforcement sources tell us Shabazz’s death does not appear to be suspicious, she was found face-down on the floor in her living room by her daughter. The timing is eerie considering just last week 83-year-old Muhammad Aziz and Khalil Islam — who died in 2009 — were exonerated after a several-decades long investigation.

Malikah Shabazz is one of Malcolm’s six children with his wife, Betty Shabazz. Malcolm X was just 39 years when he was assassinated in New York City in 1965.

As stated before, two men who were convicted of murdering Malcolm X had their convictions overturned. It is believed the person who shot the fatal shot has passed away. Also, it should be noted it has come out the FBI had multiple informants inside of Malcolm’s organization who helped plot the assassination. Hence, even though they will never be punished, the government had a significant role in the assassination of Malcolm X.

It is always the people that are close to you that are your downfall. We have seen it time and time again. Nothing has changed about that, even in 2021, so don’t just watch your back, watch your front as well.

Bernice King — the daughter of civil rights leaders Martin Luther King Jr. has reacted to the sudden death of Malikah Shabazz. She tweeted:

“My heart goes out to her family, the descendants of Dr Betty Shabazz and Malcolm X,” she wrote on Twitter. She noted that Shabazz’s mother was pregnant with Malikah and her twin sister, Malaak, when Malcom X was assassinated. She added: “Be at peace, Malikah.”
