Police in Memphis are preparing for any retaliation following the death of Young Dolph.
Authorities are not taking any risk and have already shut down the strip mall where Yo Gotti’s restaurant, Prive, is located. Some rumors swirled around social media that Gotti’s restaurant was shot up as well as Blac Youngsta’s grandmother’s house. The rumors were false, but police have decided to guard Prive until tensions settle.
Police are apparently ready for any possible retaliation that may come in the wake of Young Dolph’s murder … standing outside the Memphis restaurant owned by Yo Gotti, one of Dolph’s rivals.
Dolph was gunned down Wednesday outside a Memphis cookie store, and just a couple hours later, swarms of police cars were stationed outside Prive restaurant — about 10 miles from where Dolph was killed.
It’s currently unclear if there was an actual threat made against the restaurant, or if cops are just being proactive in preventing any possible payback. Dolph’s killer is also unknown at this time, and there have been no public connections to Yo Gotti surrounding his murder.
Young Dolph was gunned down outside of a Memphis cookie store about 10 miles away from Yo Gotti’s restaurant Wednesday afternoon. Dolph was in a long standing beef with Gotti and Blac Youngsta giving people the idea that Gotti and Youngsta were the next targets.
The identity of Young Dolph’s killer is currently unknown, and there have been no reports tying Yo Gotti or Blac Youngsta to the incident. Young Dolph was 36 at the time of his death and is survived by two children.
It’s a sad day for the hip-hop community, and hopefully, the perp is found sooner rather than later. Dolph was just 36 and left behind two kids.
