Tiger Woods Hits Golf Balls For The First Time Since His Serious Car Accident

Tiger Woods could be back to golf anytime soon since his February car crash in California. Woods has posted the first video of himself hitting the golf balls.

Tiger Woods shared the video of himself on his Twitter handle on Sunday hitting the golf balls. Is Mr. Woods telling us that he’s coming back soon?

Via ESPN:

The video posted Sunday to Woods’ social media accounts constitutes the first official update he has shared since April. The three-second clip includes the caption, “Making progress.”

Woods, 45, is wearing a compression sock on his right leg, which is meant to improve blood flow.

Woods’ future in professional golf is uncertain, but PGA Tour golfer Justin Thomas said in a recent podcast that the 15-time major champion is “going to try” to make a comeback.

“I know that he’s going to try,” Thomas said on the No Laying Up podcast. “I don’t see him ever playing if he can’t play well. He doesn’t strike me as a guy who’s played at home and he’s shooting a bunch of 75s and 76s and he’s like, ‘OK, I’m gonna give Augusta a try this year.’ That’s not really gonna be him, at least from my understanding, what I know of him.”

With this video of Tiger Woods hitting the golf balls, we can confidently say that he’s recovering and could be back to golf earlier than we all thought.

Does Tiger have another comeback in him, or is his body just too beaten down? He is still chasing Jack Nicholas’s all-time major wins record, but you feel like time is not on his side, especially after this latest injury. With that being said, he does look good hitting the balls in this video.
