White HS Football Players Accused of Intentionally Breaking Steel Valley RB Nijhay Burt’s Ankle and Calling Him a N-Word

Steel Valley running back and outside linebacker Nijhay Burt is a legitimate division 1 college football prospect.

He is southwestern Pennsylvania’s leading rusher, gaining more than 2,000 yards and scoring 35 touchdowns, but his season was ended prematurely because of racism.

You are potentially putting a kid’s future in jeopardy because your mom and dad are MAGA, and you are jealous he is a better player than you.

This is SICK.

Here are the details via CBS Pittsburgh.

WPIAL has launched an investigation into the Steel Valley-South Side Area football game in which Steel Valley’s star running back suffered a season-ending injury.

Nijhay Burt was seriously injured during the game in which players claim the n-word was freely used. Now, the WPIAL and both school districts are investigating.

His father Delorean Parms believes he was targeted for his ability and his race.

“He says while he was on the ground, someone was twisting his ankle and after they were twisting at his ankle, they stood up saying racial things in his face,” said Parms.

Sources say in addition to South Side’s coaches and players, referees may have also used racial epithets and turned a blind eye to dirty play.

“I don’t want to blame the kids so much. They’re kids. They don’t even know themselves to know the decisions they make, but the coaches that are teaching this, that are encouraging this, the adults — I think they should be held completely accountable,” said Parms.

So a predominately black school is playing a predominately white school, so are you surprised the coaches, parents, and refs were all in on it?

Black kids can’t even play football anymore without worrying about their safety on and off the field. This sounds like a story from 1960, but we can’t be surprised it is still happening in 2021.

We see our country is still deeply rooted in racism, and that isn’t changing.
