Rapper Young Dolph was shot dead on Wednesday, November 17, 2021, at 1 PM by yet-to-be-identified gunmen outside a local cookie store in Memphis, Tennessee.
The late rapper’s longtime girlfriend Mia Jaye has hopped on her Instagram Story and mourned him. She thanked people for their support and love following the tragic death of her boyfriend and then posted a clip of Young Dolph and one of their kids on her Instagram page asking how she would tell their children that their dad is never going to return home.
Here is what Mia Jaye wrote:
“Thank you to everyone for all of your prayers, love, support, calls, messages… I may not see them all but when my eyes are not full of tears. I catch… a few.”
“Nonetheless, all the genuine positive vibes, energy, and prayers are welcome… because lord knows I need them.”
In one of the posts, she asked:
“Question is… how am I going to tell my babies that daddy is never coming home?”
In another post, Donnie McClurkin’s “We Fall Down” is heard being played in the background with the caption:
“God give me strength… Adolph I love you with all my heart and soul.”
