A Recent Study Says People Run Slower When Working Out to Drake

Drake’s songs might be a vibe to a lot of music lovers but according to a recent study, people who want to run faster shouldn’t listen to the rapper’s songs as his songs make people run slower.

Drake isn’t alone in this. Musicians such as Doja Cat, Katy Perry, and Nicki Minaj found themselves in the same boat as Drake. Via Pour Moi:

Drake has found his music achieving many milestones, with the rapper’s catalog having a song for every type of moment. While the rapper has songs that can motivate exercise, a new study claims the rapper’s music makes people run slower.

In a study conducted by sportswear brand Pour Moi, different artists were played among joggers who listened to various artists. Joggers who listened to Beyoncé reportedly cut their run time by 2 minutes and 45 seconds. Artists who listened to Drake during their run reportedly increased their run by 6%, with the study claiming that Drizzy’s music could add almost 15 minutes more to their finish.

According to the study, if you want to run faster, the musicians you should be listening to are Beyonce, Harry Styles, Britney Spears, Adele, Taylor Swift, Shawn Mendes, Rihanna, Ed Sheeran, Olivia Rodrigo, Justin Bieber, Kanye West, Billie Eilish, Lady Gaga, Travis Scott and Cardi B.
