It’s always kind of risky when opposing fans sit by each other at sporting events. Especially football.
They’re already very passionate then you add alcohol and it makes for a bad situation bound to happen.
That goes extra for rivalry games like the Steelers vs. Ravens. They two rivals played each other on Sunday and there was an incident that happened in the stands because Ravens and Steelers fans set next to each other and there was alcohol.
A Steelers fan was with his son and got into some kind of altercation with a woman. Things got a little heated and then he got a beer thrown on him. He got mad and his son started crying.
He got madder and started cussing the woman out until security came and escorted her out. Luckily, he was being held back because he might have hit her if he wasn’t.
FYI they were missing a pretty good game while all this was going on.
John Harbaugh went for the win, and it didn’t work out for the Baltimore Ravens.
Lamar Jackson led Baltimore to a touchdown with 12 seconds to play, but his throw on the 2-point conversion was too far in front of tight end Mark Andrews. That oh-so-close play sent the Ravens to a 20-19 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday.
Harbaugh pointed to the play of his injury-depleted secondary — a list that now includes star Marlon Humphrey, who left in the second half with an issue Harbaugh did not disclose — as the main reason to avoid overtime.
“We tried to win the game right there,” Harbaugh said. “We were pretty much out of corners at that point in time. It was an opportunity for us to win the game right there.”
