The ex-Pittsburgh Steelers running back Antonio Brown is likely to be cast to the “Celebrity Big Brother” show because, according to TJB, they are seriously in talks with his team to cast him. So please keep your fingers crossed as discussions are still ongoing to get him on the show.
Brown’s name hasn’t left headlines since he removed his football gear, stormed off the field, and got booted from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The incident took place earlier this month and ended his short stint with the team, which had only begun in 2020. Brown and the Buccaneers’ staff have gone back and forth about what actually took place that day. The Super Bowl champion mentioned an ankle injury.
Prior to that occurrence, Brown was suspended for three games after being accused of falsifying his COVID-19 vaccination status. The NFL has not implemented a vaccine mandate; however, Brown was still reportedly in violation of their protocols.
Lately, Brown has been spotted with rapper Kanye West. Those close to the “Flashing Lights” rapper have claimed he is interested in collaborating with Brown, who has started a rap career of his own.
As far as what is next for Antonio Brown’s NFL career, here is what we know.
Brown is a free agent after getting cut by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for storming off the field in the middle of a game against the New York Jets. The embattled wideout had been a productive player for the Bucs when available, and if not for his history would be a huge target for many teams.
But there’s going to be trepidation for any executive considering adding Brown. Asked by TMZ what he would say to those skeptical decision-makers, Brown pointed toward the present.
“It’s all about what we do in this current time,” Brown said. “Everyone is a work in process and I think a lot of things people do or have done may not always be the best. But as a person, as a human, always pursuing your best purpose is what it’s about.”
It only takes one team to take a risk. I wonder if Jerry Jones might be interested?
