Reports say Bronx Rapper Chii Wvttz has been shot and killed at age 18 and according to the reports, it happened in the past weekend.

According to a social media post made by somebody identifying as the young rapper’s “best friend,” the rising rapper and DOA affiliate is no longer with us.
“I never thought I’d be writing RIP next to your name no time soon,” wrote Chii’s friend on Instagram, sharing a photo with the rapper. “I love you always and forever.”
The circumstances surrounding Chii Wvttz’ death remain mysterious, but it is believed that the rapper was shot and killed. The teenage rap star was on the brink of national success, making a name for himself while allied with Kay Flock and other rising drill rappers. One of his offerings from last year, “Demons,” was well-received from fans, in addition to a few other records.

The 18-year-old star, also known as Jayquan McKenley, was targeted early on Sunday morning. He was shot dead in a parked car on a street in Bedford-Stuyvesant, the New York Daily News reports.
The rapper, who was pursuing a career in drill music, traveled to Brooklyn to pursue his passion for music. His dad Perry Williams thought his son would “pull through” when he first learned that Wvittz had been shot.
Dozens of tributes have been paid to the teen as news of his death emerged. One said: “Really lost my best friend, I never thought I’d be writing RIP next to ya name. “No time soon s**t really crazy I love you always and forever my heart. Forever your world.”
Another commented: “Bro WTF goin on, RIP Chii Wvttz mad talent.”
