Eminem Is Bringing His Mom’s Spaghetti Restaurant To Los Angeles For The Super Bowl

Eminem is billed to perform at the Super Bowl on Sunday but he isn’t coming just to perform, he’s coming along with his mom’s spaghetti restaurant food to Los Angeles.

That’s a smart business move and trust me, he will get the numbers for his mom’s business. TMZ says that Eminem’s mom’s spaghetti will open on Wednesday and shut down after game day.

For folks who don’t want to venture to Downtown L.A., they can order exclusively on Postmates with free delivery for orders over $20. Pickup will also be available from Uncle Paulie’s Deli DTLA location.

The restaurant is killing it in Detroit, and now Los Angelenos and people visiting the City of Angels can sample Em’s fare at a pop-up shop in DTLA.

Eminem opened his ‘Mom’s Spaghetti’ brick-and-mortar restaurant in his hometown back in September. The menu is inspired by the rapper’s lyrics in “Lose Yourself” … Spaghetti with Toasted Garlic Bread, Spaghetti with Beef or Vegan Meatball, and a S’ghetti Sandwich (which is literally a piece of Eminem’s childhood).

“It’s not the kind of pasta you’d expect if your grandma came from Italy on a boat … it’s more like the spaghetti you’d know if your mom came from Michigan on a bus,” says Mom’s Spaghetti co-owner Curt Catallo.

BTW … Postmates is holding a sweepstake to win limited-edition jars of Mom’s Spaghetti’s sauce signed by Eminem.

Lose Yourself is one of if not the greatest Eminem song of all-time.

“Lose Yourself” is a song by American rapper Eminem from the soundtrack to the 2002 motion picture 8 Mile. The song was written by Eminem and produced by Eminem along with longtime collaborator Jeff Bass, one half of the production duo Bass Brothers, and Luis Resto. It was released on October 28, 2002, as the lead single from the soundtrack. The song’s lyrics explicitly sum up the background of Eminem’s character in 8 Mile, B-Rabbit, with the first verse summing up much of the plot of the movie. The song incorporates several aggressive themes, largely dealing with the struggles dealt with by B-Rabbit, and how he eventually overcomes his many problems and obstacles to gain the respect of other rappers.

“Lose Yourself” was a commercial success, becoming Eminem’s first Billboard Hot 100 number-one single and remaining there for twelve consecutive weeks. It reached atop of the charts in nineteen other countries. “Lose Yourself” received acclaim from music critics, with many critics praising the song’s inspiring, aggressive themes and describing it as Eminem’s best work to date. Eminem’s rapping ability, the lyrics and the production were also praised. In many retrospective reviews and lists, critics have cited the song among Eminem’s finest, as well as one of the greatest hip hop songs of all time.
