Jada Pinkett-Smith’s Response To Will Smith Slapping Chris Rock The OSCARS in Her Honor Like Tupac

It didn’t take long but Jada Pinkett Smith has finally made a statement regarding her husband Will Smith slapping Chris Rock at the Oscars.

Rock made a joke about her being bald which she visibly didn’t like.

Jada suffers from alopecia which causes hair loss and she’s been open about how self-conscious she is about it. Chris Rock had no idea that Jada was suffering from alopecia.

Jada went to IG to post her response and I am going to be honest with you, I think she likes that all the attention is off Will finally winning an OSCAR and it is on her.  Will was fine with it until Jada gave him the look to protect her honor as Tupac would.

Now everyone is against Will and he is apologizing for what he did.

Violence in all of its forms is poisonous and destructive. My behavior at last night’s Academy Awards was unacceptable and inexcusable. Jokes at my expense are a part of the job, but a joke about Jada’s medical condition was too much for me to bear and I reacted emotionally.

I would like to publicly apologize to you, Chris. I was out of line and I was wrong. I am embarrassed and my actions were not indicative of the man I want to be. There is no place for violence in a world of love and kindness.

I would also like to apologize to the Academy, the producers of the show, all the attendees and everyone watching around the world. I would like to apologize to the Williams Family and my King Richard Family. I deeply regret that my behavior has stained what has been an otherwise gorgeous journey for all of us.

I am a work in progress.

Sincerely,

Will

Wonder how long this will be a topic though.
