Mase has dropped a diss track directed at his former label boss and collaborator, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs titled “Oracle 2: The Legend of Mason Betha” and in this song, he calls out Diddy for repping Harlem despite reportedly hailing from the Westchester County suburb of Mt. Vernon.
Here are some of the lyrics of Mase in his new diss track to Diddy:
“Yeah, I’m just a Harlem n***a reppin’ down a Vegas strip with my own Suge / You from Mt. Vernon, n***a, go & rep your own hood,” Mase raps. “I’m not hating on your Billi worth / Right now, I’m only saying what you really work / You ain’t no architect / You just a n***a who know how to market death.”
Mase also questions Diddy’s roots and integrity and calls him out for exploiting the death of The Notorious B.I.G. via Vladtv:
The five-minute track finds the rapper-turned-pastor questioning Diddy’s integrity and roots. Mase calls out Diddy for repping Harlem even though he reportedly hailed from the Westchester County suburb of Mt. Vernon. The former Bad Boy artist also accuses Diddy of exploiting the death of The Notorious B.I.G.
Previously, Mase called out Diddy in 2020 and claimed he “starves” his artists. Mase’s diss also comes amid multiple Making The Band artists airing out their grievances with the Bad Boy founder.
Last year, Mase resumed his religious career when he was named the pastor of the Gathering Oasis Church in Atlanta.
Almost every artist that was under Bad Boy has had issues with Puff over the years. I always thought it was interesting that when BIG decided to start his record label he didn’t partner with Puff but went a whole other route for distribution. If I am not mistaken Puff still owns Mase’s masters which is insane. Puff is super rich, he can afford to give him his masters back.
