Florida hitman Javon Carter has been accused of killing a single mother and TSA officer Le’Shonte Jones and according to reports, he was hired by hairstylist Jasmin Martinez.
According to the Daily Mail, the video was released by the State Attorney’s Office on Wednesday and it shows 29-year-old Javon Carter “gloating as he counted stacks of $100 bills detectives say were part of a $10,000 payment for killing single mother Le’Shonte Jones, 24, in front of her daughter at their Miami home on May 3, 2021.”

Investigators have accused hairstylist Jasmine Martinez, 33, of fraudulently obtaining a $15,000 PPP loan last year to pay Carter and career criminal Romiel Robinson, 35, to kill Jones, who Martinez had a history of attacking after the TSA officer began dating her ex-boyfriend.
Surveillance footage of the May shooting captured Jones and her toddler walking toward their apartment when a man, later identified as Carter, got out of a gray 2019 Nissan Sentra and began shooting at them with a semi-automatic pistol, police said.
The car had been rented by Carter’s associate, who later told police that Carter ‘explained to him that he was involved in a shooting to help a friend in jail.’
Carter, wearing black hoodie-wearing, also injured Jones’ three-year-old daughter.
Prosecutors suspect that Robinson was the ‘go-between’ who set Martinez up with the gunman. Robinson was said to have connected the two while he was in jail facing charges for nine other crimes.
Prosecutors say that Martinez hatched the plan to murder Jones over a series of months via jailhouse phone calls with her then-boyfriend Kelly Nelson, which were recorded and used as key evidence. However, Nelson has not been accused in taking part in the TSA officer’s murder.
In one call, Martinez allegedly said she was ‘ready to go kill this ho’ and that Jones had to ‘die,’ according to the alleged killer’s arrest warrant.
