Wrestling promoter Jerry Jarrett has announced that WWE Hall of Famer Scott Hall has been hospitalized after suffering a broken hip injury following an unfortunate fall.
Here is what Jerry Jarrett wrote on his Facebook page:
“Just got off the phone with my friend Scott Hall. He fell and broke his hip and he’s in the hospital. Prayers will help him recover.”
Total Pro Sports got some interesting stuff about Scott Hall.
Hall, who was one of the titans of the industry that was responsible for both a lengthy career as well as the formation of the New World Order alongside Kevin Nash and Hulk Hogan, first entered the world of professional wrestling in 1984. He worked his way to becoming a part of the WWE in 1992, wherein he established the character of Razor Ramon.
When he left the organization in 1996, he would become a part of World Championship Wrestling where his legend grew even more when he became one of the three founders of the nWo.
Hall underwent hip replacement surgery in 2013 after fellow WWE Hall of Famer Diamond Dallas Page helped him raise $80,000 for the procedure and other medical expenses.
Considering everything Scott Hall has been through, it is amazing he is still alive. DDP really saved his life back in the day when he was closed to death. Since then, it has been a rocky road, but Hall has been able to maintain and make public appearances here and there but never has quite looked right.
He needs someone around all the time to make sure he doesn’t relapse and, in this case, hurt himself. In his prime, Hall was one of the most charismatic figures in wrestling, and his Razor Ramon persona is still legendary even to this day.
