During the game, a Spurs fan saw her moment and took it and she passionately put on a performance of Kelly Clarkson’s song, “Since U Been Gone,” and the crowd at AT&T Center ate it up. The dancing fan got up from her seat and used her empty beverage cup as a microphone while pointing to the camera.
It is wild how everything came together at the last moment.
We tracked down the social media star. Briana Saldaña is the mystery woman Spurs Twitter is loving. She’s 27 and is a longtime San Antonio resident. Saldaña says she never expected the night to play out the way it did. Actually, she didn’t even think her day would end with a Spurs game.
Saldaña works in retail and when she noticed a few of her clients shopping the store in Spurs outfits, she was reminded that the Trail Blazers would be in town for one of the last regular season home games. As her shift winded down, she started planning some after-work fun with her family. She drew up a game plan for a last-minute family night with her husband, Joey Hernandez, her parents, Arturo and Rae Saldaña, and her in-laws, Jorge Hernandez and Lizbeth Herrera.
“The song came on and I was like ‘This is actually my jam’ and I committed and I did not look back,” she says. “This is nothing new.
