LSU Gymnastics star Olivia Dunn has disclosed in an Instagram post that her smartphone with personal photos was pickpocketed at Coachella and according to her, she needed an upgrade anyway. It’s obvious she isn’t bothered about her stolen phone since she was already planning to upgrade to a higher version.
Olivia Dunn posted a thirst trap photo on her Instagram page with the caption; “To the person who pick-pocketed my phone, thanks I needed an upgrade anyways:) #revolvefestival”.
TPS has more on people complaining about their phones and other stuff getting stolen at Coachella;
There have been plenty of complaints piling in from the exclusive Revolve Festival at Coachella. Most of those complaints have been about the long shuttle lines, lack of water and dangerous conditions surrounding the event. However, LSU gymnast Olivia Dunn has a different complaint.
While attending the two-day, invitation-only event over the weekend, Dunn had her phone pickpocketed. She later took to Instagram to sarcastically thank the thief, claiming she needed an upgrade anyway.
Losing your phone is never fun, especially when you’re on vacation somewhere, like Dunn was in this instance. However, the Tigers/social media star didn’t let it ruin her time in California.
Based on one of her TikTok videos, she was still able to enjoy the festivities with her friends.
Here is a little more about Livvy.
Olivia Paige “Livvy” Dunne (born October 1, 2002) is an American artistic gymnast and social media personality. She was a member of the USA national gymnastics team in 2017 and is currently competing for Louisiana State University in the NCAA.
Dunne joined the social media platform TikTok in 2020. Initially she posted videos of her gymnastics but later started posting videos of other areas of her life as well. As of July 2021, Dunne had amassed over 4 million subscribers on TikTok and over 1 million followers on Instagram, giving her one of the largest platforms for an NCAA athlete. As of August 2, 2021, Dunne became the most-followed NCAA athlete on social media with over 5 million followers across multiple social platforms.
On July 1, 2021, the NCAA changed its rule to allow its athletes to earn money from their name, image, and likeness. Dunne was projected to earn more compensation than any other collegiate athlete due to her large social media platform, which was a combined five million followers across both Instagram and TikTok at the time the law change took effect. In August Dunne announced that she signed with WME Sports, becoming their first NIL athlete. A month later she announced her first exclusive brand partnership with activewear brand Vuori.
She is better at social media than Gymnastics.
