Cowboys Kelvin Joseph was singing like Luther Vandross to the cops.
That is the reason he isn’t in jail right now, but two of his boys are. This was the only way to say himself and his career was to snitch.
Normally in a case like this if no one snitches all the participants in the car are charged with murder, but in this case, it looks like Joseph is going to skate and walk free.
Two men have been arrested in the fatal shooting in which Cowboys player Kelvin Joseph was questioned, though Joseph has not been arrested and does not face charges at this time, police sources confirmed to WFAA on Saturday.
The two suspects, who were arrested late Friday, have not yet been identified by police.
Cameron Ray, of Athens, died in the shooting, which happened March 18, outside of the OT Tavern Bar and Grill in the 3600 block of Greenville Avenue.
After weeks of investigating, it came to light this week that Dallas police wanted to speak with Joseph about the shooting, sources confirmed to WFAA.
Police sources told WFAA that Joseph was in the suspects’ vehicle at the time of the shooting. But police have not officially specified Joseph’s possible involvement in the case.
Investigators believe the two men arrested Friday fired weapons in the shooting death of Ray, sources said.
Joseph, a second-year cornerback for the Cowboys, had a lengthy interview with homicide detectives at his attorney’s office in Dallas on Friday afternoon.
Joseph will likely be a witness for the prosecution on the stand.
He needs to be very careful because if he was hanging around with shooters like that, there is no guarantee his life won’t be in danger when they realize he has turned on them.
On April 16, 2022, Dallas Police arrested 28-year-old Aries Jones and 21-year-old Tivione English, of Baton Rouge, LA, in connection to the homicide at 3600 Greenville Avenue.
The cops were able to IDed Joseph by the rap moniker chain that he was wearing in the surveillance video.
