A Colombian soccer player who has been offered a two-year suspended sentence for the 2020 beating his ex-girlfriend in Argentina is now being accused of allegedly sexually assaulting a young woman whom he also threatened to kill. Boca Juniors forward Sebastián Villa reportedly met the victim in 2020 and reportedly assaulted her at his home in the Buenos Aires town of Canning on June 26, 2021, according to a police report obtained by Argentine newspaper Clarín on Friday.

As of Monday, authorities had not interviewed Villa, who played in Boca Junior’s playoff semifinal scoreless tie with Racing on Saturday. The club has not made any public statements regarding Villa’s legal troubles or his future with the team. The woman said she had gone out to cookout at a home with Villa and that he went into a jealous rage because she had exchanged pleasantries with one of his teammates.

They left the outing and returned to his apartment where they gathered with Villa’s friends. Villa flew into another rage after his guests departed while his bodyguard, who the woman identified as ‘Vikingo,’ remained at the home.

They then retreated to his bedroom to sleep when Villa started to attack her. ‘He was caressing me on the face when he suddenly becomes violent, he squeezes my jaw and the back of my neck, slaps me and tells me, ‘Did you like my teammates?’ the woman told the Buenos Aires police.
