Here is a piece of advice for Kendrick Perkins.
You have a very cushy job at ESPN that pays very well. You can’t get triggered by players calling you an Ogre and end up losing your job. You can’t keep challenging everyone to a fight. You are in the media now, so that isn’t going to fly. This isn’t the first time ESPN has made Big Perk take down a video after he got in his feelings.
Big Perk has to learn from Stephen A. Smith and just say he will address the next time he is on TV. This is all entertainment now. Draymond knew what he was doing when he said this.
“Something came to my phone earlier,” Green said to reporters. “Some guy saying I’m scared to shoot the basketball. Scared and me in the same sentence is brutal. But you got a big ogre on TV talking about what Draymond says ain’t the gospel. It is the gospel. What I say is the gospel. When you say that multiple times on several different segments, you must think what I say is the gospel. So, you got to come out and shut some guys up sometimes. When you got people talking out the side of their neck. ‘Anybody can make the pass Draymond make.’ That’s just stupid.”
Big Perk immediately went to Twitter to curse him out and point out that Draymond isn’t that easy on the eyes while pointing out that if Draymond wants the smoke, he knows where to find him.
ESPN made him delete the post, and then Draymond clowned him for not standing on his square.
It is just another day on NBA Twitter. You can tell the Warriors are on a mission to prove they can win a title without post-Kevin Durant and are going to try to steamroll anyone in their way.
Flip the pages for the back and forth between Big Perk and Draymond.
