BSO was the first to report that Ex-Seahawks and Ravens safety Earl Thomas was on the run from cops after violating a court order about threatening his wife, Nina. Nina provided text messages showing that Thomas had threatened to poison his kids and implied she might have some car trouble and would run off the road with her new boyfriend driving.
Nina believes it because he has CTE.
Recently, the woman told police Thomas began sending her text messages that threaten the woman and her children. On April 18, police say Thomas texted the woman that he obtained two handguns earlier that day. Later, he texted: “Waiting on hand in foot is why I’ll kick ur ass.”
The next day, police say Thomas texted: “I hope u in the car with him and the kids and yall drive off the road.” That same day, police say he texted: “Ima let my momma and my cousins poison they (their children) ass.” The woman told police Thomas suffered several concussions playing football and may have CTE — the term commonly used for brain degeneration caused by head trauma.
It took a couple of weeks, but Thomas has finally been arrested, but it should be noted he didn’t turn himself in.
Former Seattle Seahawks safety Earl Thomas was arrested Friday in his hometown of Orange, Texas, more than two weeks after a warrant was issued following his alleged violation of a court protective order. According to a report by WFAA in Dallas, Thomas was arrested by the Orange Police Department after he was recognized at a restaurant.
An arrest warrant for Thomas was issued on April 27 in Austin, Texas, after police said he violated the protective order by sending threatening messages to a woman about her and her children, the Austin American-Statesman reported last week.
If you are familiar with Earl and Nina’s story, Nina once tried to murder Earl when she caught him in bed with Snapchat models.
Nina claims Earl, 30, left their home earlier in the day after an argument over the NFL player’s drinking. She claims Earl’s brother, Seth Thomas, picked him up. But, a short time later, she decided to check on his whereabouts by logging into his Snapchat account — and that’s when she says she found video of Earl with another woman.
Nina says she used Earl’s Snapchat account to track his location to a nearby Airbnb rental home … and says she called up two other women to help her confront Earl at the pad. Nina also claims she grabbed Earl’s pistol, a 9mm Berreta, in the process with the intention to “scare him.” When the women arrived at the house, they “discovered Earl and Seth naked in bed with other women.”
That’s when Nina admits she pulled out the gun and put it to Earl’s head — stating “that she took out the magazine thinking that the gun could not fire.” But, cops say Nina was “unaware that the gun had a round in the chamber.” Cops say one of the women in the house shot cell phone video of the incident … which they say shows Nina pointing the gun at Earl’s head “from less than a foot away and it can clearly be seen that Nina’s finger was on the trigger and the safety is disengaged.”
Fortunately for Earl, cops say the Ravens defensive back was able to wrestle the gun away from her. Cops say the cell phone video also shows Nina striking Earl in the nose before it ends.
They tried to work it out after that, but too much cheating had happened, so Nina moved on with another man, which triggered Earl.
Earl wants to get back into the NFL, but that is never happening now.
