The four smoke show cowgirls from the Flames-Oilers game 5 who were seated behind Jay Woodcroft have been identified. These four girls caused distractions during the game and also mesmerized almost everyone’s attention.
According to TPS;
The “Battle of Alberta” between the Calgary Flames and the Edmonton Oilers didn’t last as long as most people had thought (or hoped) it would, as Connor McDavid’s overtime goal in Game 5 sealed a 4-1 series victory for his Oilers. However, despite only lasting five games, the series still had plenty to offer.
Not only was there plenty of excitement taking place on the ice, as teams combined for 45 goals over 5 games, but there was also a lot going on in the stands as well.
Most notable was the scene taking place behind the Oilers bench during an epic Game 5 battle in Calgary. Throughout the contest, viewers watching the game on television couldn’t help but notice the four cowgirls seated behind Jay Woodcroft.
At one point, there were even able to share a special moment with the Edmonton Oilers’ head coach.
Daily Hive caught up with the ladies to talk with them about their experience at the game. Sarah, Caitlin, Jordan, and Ashley claim that they all work together at Cowboys, which is described as “a Calgary dance hall, music festival, and popular Stampede tent that’s the ‘most fun you can have with your boots on.’”
According to the ladies;
They were invited to the game and were asked to cheer loudly for their Flames during the Battle of Alberta. And even though their team came out on the losing end that night, they still claimed that “This Battle of Alberta was epic and it was so incredible to see everyone come together – fans from both teams were awesome!”
As for the highlight of their night, that would definitely be their moment with Woodcroft, which they captured an epic photo of from their point of view.
And while Jordan’s page is listed as private, Caitlin, Sarah and Ashley were all public.
