The Ray J and Kim Kardashian sex tape debacle finds its way to resurface every now and then and it’s back now.
Leading up to the new season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, we saw clips of Kim seeing an ad for a new sex tape on her son’s iPad and it scared her thinking Ray J could have more footage of them somehow.
She said that he could have filmed sticking things up her butt while she was sleeping for all she knew.
Ray J is speaking out now. He said that Kim and Kris Jenner are portraying a false narrative surrounding the sex tape and said that they were the ones who are responsible for its release which netted them millions.
He is also claiming that the reason he and Kim broke up was that she, Khloe, and Rob stole $120k from his mom Sonja Norwood by using her American Express card which they were eventually sued for. Here are the details of that suit.
Kardashian had been working as Brandy’s stylist in 2004 and had been authorized to make one purchase on the credit card.
However, Norwood alleges that Kardashian then passed the card to her siblings and continued to make purchases at the Kardashian-owned clothing stores, Dash and Smooch for a total of $120,636.
“Investigation has revealed that the Kardashians used their two stores and other stores that I have never visited to take advantage of me. I very much look forward to having the Kardashians account for their misconduct in a court of law” Norwood said in a statement.
The lawsuit named Khloe, Kourtney and Robert Jr. as well and seeks the money spent between 2006 and 2007 as well as 10 percent interest.
“I did not want to commence litigation against the Kardashian family without conducting an exhaustive investigation into the charges and discussing all options, including criminal prosecution, with my family,” Norwood said in reports by People.
The case was later settled out-of-court in 2009. The suit was dismissed on June 1 with prejudice which means the case could not be appealed or refiled.
Sounds very messy.
