O.J. Simpson has some thoughts on Deshaun Watson’s 24 massage lawsuits. He posted a video to his Twitter handle and suggested some of the 24 women accusing Deshaun of sexually assaulting them could be lying. Simpson has doubts about the 24 women accusing the NFL star of sexually abusing them in the name of massages.
According to Daily Caller;
O.J. Simpson doesn’t trust all of Deshaun Watson’s accusers.
The Cleveland Browns quarterback recently settled 20 of 24 lawsuits he was facing over allegations of sexual misconduct, but Simpson isn’t sold that all the women were legit.
“You know, I do believe that some of the girls just jumped aboard, but who knows. I do know this, the four that are holding out, they may have a better case against him. I have no doubt that with it being the same lawyer involved with all 24 cases (Tony Buzbee), some of those girls, at least the last four, are probably going to get some more duckets,” Simpson explained to his fans in a Tuesday Twitter video.
Watson has settled 20 of 24 lawsuits.
Deshaun Watson had to stop the bleeding.
24 women had sued him for massage assault, several others hadn’t sued him but had accused him and several more were considering filing a lawsuit.
He probably had to pay big bucks, but now he only has to deal with four lawsuits instead of 24.
The accusers’ lawyer Tony Buzbee released this exclusive statement to BSO.
“Today I announce that all cases against Deshaun Watson, with the exception of four, have settled,” plaintiffs attorney Tony Buzbee said in a statement. “We are working through the paperwork related to those settlements. Once we have done so, those particular cases will be dismissed. The terms and amounts of the settlements are confidential. We won’t comment further on the settlements or those cases.”
The settlements are confidential, so no word on what Watson had to pay out. Watson had an agreement to settle most of the cases for $100k a piece according to Buzbee when he was trying to get traded to Dolphins.
