Before Ciara got married to Russell Wilson, NBA star Amar’e Stoudemire had already had his way with her and according to Ciara, that experience was fun.

During the interview in 2012, Ciara Harris talked about a whole host of things. The host asked her when was the last time she had gone on a date. And Ciara said that the last time she had gone on a date was almost a year back. She also said that it was with NBA star Amar’e Stoudemire. Ciara revealed that Stoudemire courted her when she was 19.
She said, “He has always been a nice guy. Always been very nice to me. Always been very respectful. And I had a very fun experience… I am wishing for him to figure things out the right way in his life…”
During the time of the interview, Stoudemire was playing for the New York Knicks.
And two years later Ciara and Russell Wilson would marry and have been together strong ever since. Recently, Wilson and Ciara stole the show at the ESPYs. And they both served as presenters. Earlier in the night, Wilson and Ciara discussed the importance of women in sports on the red carpet, where the quarterback praised their 5-year-old daughter Sienna as being “a premier athlete already.”
Everyone has a past, so you can’t hold that against Ciara. Even though word on the street was before she finally got around to becoming a family woman with Russell Wilson, she was spun around the block a few times by a lot of rappers and athletes.
After getting played by Future, she decided it was time to change her life and get her someone who wouldn’t just treat her like a plaything and that is when she found Russ. They are living happily ever after now. The reason she probably couldn’t settle down with Amar’e was that he was married at the time.
